Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Tunisia: Q1 2022

In the first quarter of 2022, the top five travel and local apps on the Android platform in Tunisia demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active users. Here is a detailed look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Earth saw fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 4K downloads and experiencing a peak of approximately 5.5K in the last week of February. Weekly active users showed a notable increase from 30.9K at the beginning of the quarter to a peak of 36.2K in the last week of February, before stabilizing around 30.7K by the end of March.

Safarway experienced a significant spike in weekly downloads at the beginning of January, reaching over 6K. However, the numbers gradually declined, hitting a low of approximately 254 in the week of March 21. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 717 and peaking at 5.2K in mid-January, before dropping to 708 by the end of the quarter.

Live Earth Map 3D had an impressive surge in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter. Downloads jumped from just 2 in mid-January to over 11K in the week of March 21. Active users also saw a significant rise, from 3K in early March to 9.4K by the third week of March.

Split - Covoiturage showed a mixed performance in weekly downloads. The app saw a high of 4.8K in mid-February but ended the quarter with numbers as low as 178. Unfortunately, there was no data available for active users.
